Chris was born and raised in small town Saskatchewan. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007. Chris headed west and articled at a mid-sized firm in Calgary for a number of years before returning to Saskatchewan. He obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2009, and started with Virtus Group in 2010.
Chris’ primary focus is mid-sized owner managed businesses in various industries including automotive dealers, agriculture, construction and trades, manufacturing, and professional corporations. Chris focuses on being an internal resource to managers and partners within the firm.
In his spare time Chris enjoys spending time with his young family camping, boating, fishing and attending various kids’ activities, as well as keeping up on his fitness.
